Quick Summary

I’m a Software Engineer that specializes in backend technologies and developing applications for Linux systems.

Most of the work I do involves backend web development, REST APIs, and SQL.

My main technology stack is Python, MySQL (or Postgres), Linux, and Apache w/ mod_wsgi (or Gunicorn).

Python

Python is renowned for its simplicity and readability, making it a popular choice for startups and Fortune 500 companies alike. Its versatility allows for applications ranging from web development to data analysis and artificial intelligence.

MySQL

MySQL is a powerful, open-source relational database management system (RDBMS) that is widely used for managing structured data. It uses SQL (Structured Query Language), the most popular language for adding, accessing, and managing content in a database.

Linux

Linux, known for its stability and scalability, is the preferred choice for developers and businesses aiming to build powerful, secure, and efficient applications.

Apache

It’s a robust and extensible software that acts as a web server, meaning it’s responsible for receiving requests from browsers and delivering web pages and other content.

Projects

Note that most of my day-to-day work is not tracked via my Github page. This is because I work primarily from private SVN repositories.

30 page massage website built in Django. Includes MySQL database for storing and deleting appointments, adding customers, liability waiver form, user login, and user registration.

This project has been transitioned to WordPress as requirements and time constraints for the business changed. Source code can be found here.
